Our payroll hasen't been working for over a week. How are others in the quickbooks community handling this?

Did you receive an error when trying to run payroll or approve paychecks? Which part of processing payroll did you get an issue with? 

 

In the meantime, we can check if the issue you're experiencing is caused by a stored cache file within a regular browser. A cache full of history and temp files can cause unexpected behaviors, such as being unable to process payroll. To start, try logging in to QuickBooks Online through a private browser. To open one, you can use these keyboard shortcuts: 

 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Then, run payroll from there. If this works, you can clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different browser.
