I had to go to the new payroll from intuit that i hate and have nothing but trouble with. 

I have two issues. 

 

First is each week when i import the iif file to my quick books for mac the employees address is not on the checks. I have to put in the address each week. 

The second complaint I have is I can only now pay my New York State tax once a quarter. I pay it weekly and they can not change it I have it set up to pay 3 days after payroll but if i do i can not make another payment that quarter.

I'm here to help fix the issues you're having with payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To answer your first concern, it's possible that your employees' information were not mapped properly. If this is the case, let's try to review your export preference. The steps to do this may differ depending on the payroll subscription you're using.

 

For Intuit Full Service Payroll, here's how:

 

  1. Go to Account Settings.
  2. Select Edit next to Export Settings.
  3. The accounts mapped to your export preferences will display. If you need to make changes, select Edit to the right of the section you need to update, update the account.
  4. Select Save.

 

For Intuit Online Payroll:

 

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. In the Export section, select Preferences.
  3. The accounts mapped to your export preferences will display. Modify the accounts as needed.
  4. After changing the accounting preference, select OK until you're back to the Setup Overview page.
