I appreciate you choosing QuickBooks as your payroll partner, @becky 1148. I’m here to ensure that you’re able to migrate from Intuit back to QuickBooks Online Payroll.

First off, you’ll have to set up your accounting preferences in QuickBooks Online for the accounts that you’ll use, and are impacted by all payroll activities. This way, your data from the online payroll will be converted seamlessly. Please also know you'll be taken to the updated link for QuickBooks Online Payroll each time you attempt to visit Intuit Online Payroll.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings under YOUR COMPANY
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Accounting Preferences.
  4. Review and select all your payroll accounts accordingly.
  5. Click OK, then tap OK.

If you’ll need to export your individual tax payment from QBOP, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Payroll tax on the left hand menu.
  2. Select the report Tax payment history under Tax resources.
  3. Filter the date for the tax payments you want to export.
  4. Put a check mark in the box for one or more payments to export.
  5. Click on Export to Accounting.

From here, you can go ahead and proceed with the conversion from your online payroll account. To do so, you can follow the steps outlined in this link: Setup export of IOP data to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's a link that you can visit for more details about payroll transition: Move from Intuit Online Payroll to QuickBooks Online Payroll Core.

If you're experiencing issues with the conversion process, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the tools to help you convert the files successfully.

If you need help performing any tasks related to your account and company settings, browse all articles from this link: QBOP Related Help. This will guide you on how you can update and handle your payroll data.

Let me know if you require further assistance with the process by commenting below. Feel free to come back here if you have other payroll concerns. I'll be right here to help you.
