Hello there, @joebarto81.

Thanks for visiting us today here in the Community. I'm here to share some insights about non-sufficient funds in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Yes, you'll still be able to receive the check from QuickBooks even if the employer has insufficient funds from his LLC account. For more information about this process, feel free to check out this article: Resolve a non-sufficient funds (NSF) hold on your payroll service. Though this is for direct deposit and since you're referring to checks, it's best for the employee to reach out to his/her employer to settle this matter properly.

In addition to this, you can also pull up a variety of payroll reports in QuickBooks. This will give you a closer look at your employee's total wages, deductions, and tax information in a certain period. For the complete list of available payroll reports and how to pull them up, kindly refer to this article: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns about managing your payroll transactions in QBO. I'll be here to lend a helping hand. Stay safe!
