How do I add previous wages earned to each employee when we started quickbooks online in May.. We need to add their wages before quickbooks online started for us Jan-May

You will want to contact our Payroll team for corrections in this case since the affected period is already in the past quarter. Just to add and for the sake of other readers, you can enter the lumpsum values of the pay, deductions, contributions, etc. when you've just started setup up the payroll feature: Add pay history to QuickBooks Online Payroll.
