QB had been absolutely terrible to get answers. I have 10 cases numbers to change my bank account for payroll.  Started this process over a month ago and still no one can help change it. I have been transferred, escalated, promised an email and nothing.   The business line they have to verify will not call our business.

Hey there, @twilke

We hate to hear that your experience with our Customer Support hasn't been great. With that being said I want to ensure that you get this taken care of as soon as possible.

To clarify, have you tried using the steps from this guide: Change your payroll bank account

This will help us narrow down the actions you have taken and what we can do going forward. I'll be waiting for your response!

I went through the process you posted.   I went to run payroll and it still shows in preview - funding account at top as the old bank in payroll.  So that did not work.

Hey there again, @twilke

I appreciate you coming back and giving us some more details.

Can you provide us with a screenshot of what it says on the page that you're stuck on etc? Or what step are you getting stuck on/can't get past when changing the details? Please remember to block out any personal information you may have on that screen so other users don't get your information.

In addition, if you connected manually, you'll need to verify your new bank account. Within 2-3 business days, we'll verify your new account with a test transaction. A few things to know about test transactions:

  • After changing your bank account information, a test transaction should appear in your bank statement in 2-3 business days
  • This amount should be a debit and credit of less than $1.00 from Intuit Payroll Service
  • You can call your bank or check your bank statement online to verify the amount
  • Make sure the test transaction is cleared (not pending) on your bank statement before proceeding, otherwise the bank verification will fail.

I'll be right around the corner when you reach back out!
