Hi there, PPP loan. Let me guide you on how to edit the payroll check in QuickBooks Online. 

 

In QBO, if you need to make changes to a regular paycheck that you haven't sent yet through payroll, you have the option to edit, void, or delete the paycheck. Editing the paycheck will update the payroll information directly. To edit a regular paycheck in QBO, follow the steps below as a reference:

 

  1. Go to Payroll in the left navigation menu, then select Employees.
  2. Select the Paycheck list under the Run payroll button.
  3. Find the check you want to edit, then in the Action dropdown, select Edit
  4. Edit the paycheck and enter the necessary details.
  5. Click Save.
     

However, if you're paying your employee via direct deposit, I recommend contacting our Customer Support to help you further with this matter. They have the tools to access your account securely and help you edit this transaction. 

 

Additionally, you can print out the paychecks and send them to your employees.
