Payroll checks not matching quickbooks records

I printed and distributed checks to my employees. It wasn't until I was reconciling my register that I realized the check numbers are different in QB and the paycheck itself. How do I change the check numbers to match the correct paychecks now?

Edit each paycheck and then change the check number to the correct number.
