Payroll data did not migrate accurately from desktop to on line

Please know that when moving from QBDT to QBO, you may notice differences in how your books appear due to the import limitations. There's also certain data that doesn't move in QBO and this includes wages. Since there is a current wage displayed on your end, the information might be from manually entered pay history or creating a paycheck. I recommend running the Payroll summary report to review the data. This statement gives you the total payroll wages, taxes, deductions, and contributions. 

Here's how:

1. Click the Reports menu on the left panel.
2. Scroll down to the Payroll section and select Payroll Summary by Employee.
3. Set a date range and click select Apply.
4. Click Customize to include the wage details.
5. Choose Run report.

Once you've confirmed that there are discrepancies in the data or that the wages shown are higher than the actual, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll Support Team. They have the ability to access your account and make changes to your pay history.
