Payroll Liabilities
After I processed payroll I was informed an employee should not have been subject to FICA. I updated his pay going forward and I noticed the system automatically removed his wages from being subject to FICA. My question is
1. how do I refund him those taxes taken in error? Create a new deduction and enter a negative?
2. Do I need to adjust my 941 or did that liability adjustment take care of the 941 for me?
