Payroll service PIN

In order to update my payroll service I must provide my payroll service PIN. I have no idea what that is. How do I find out or make a new payroll service PIN?

As much as I love to check this futher for you but I won't be able to display your details here this thread for the security of your account and other information. That said, I would recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support Team for further assistance. A live agent can pull up your account securely and generate a payroll PIN for you.

 

To contact support:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop file.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Tap on Contact Us.
  4. Enter a short description of your concern, then select Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect with support.

 

Support is open M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

But how do you even initiate the PIN? What is the first step in getting a PIN? This isn't clear!!!

I'm here to get you pointed in the right direction in determining how you can get your Direct Deposit pin.

 

You'll be able to get this pin when you verify the Direct Deposit bank account that you registered in QuickBooks. If you lost it, you can go to the Account Maintenance page or the Send Payroll Data window to recover it. 

 

You can always try another method when changing or resetting your PIN. Please read through this article: Change PIN for processing direct deposit payroll.

 

If the issue persists, you may reach out to our Payroll Support Team to check what's causing the issue.
