payroll settings state that my payroll accounts are not exporting

Hello,

I have researched as well as called QBO re the following setting:

under payroll settings:

accounting: choose how payroll accounts are exported            not exporting  

 

No one has been able to tell me how the "not exporting" is affecting the individual payrolll accounts that are used every two weeks.

If I click the pencil to edit, all the information on the following page is good.  Each payroll item is tagged to flow to either a payroll expense or a payroll liability!  

Please help me understand how to fix this issue.  The QBO Payroll expert I worked with last week could not get it to export!   He tried every workaround he could think of though.  I thank you in advance for your guidance.

I have some steps that we can try. To confirm, did you try exporting file using a private browser? If not, you'll want to access your QuickBooks account using a private browser or an incognito window. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that cause some unusual responses. 

 

Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)

 

After that, go back to the payroll settings and try exporting. See this guide for details: Export into QuickBooks Online or Desktop from Core, Premium, or Elite Standalone Payroll.

 

If it's working,  return to your default browser clear your browser's cache to speed up the loading process. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate.
