Payroll taxes

On 3 separate occasions QB's has sent me an email stating what payroll taxes would be deducted prior to me running payroll. Then after I run payroll I get another email stating the taxes that'll be taken out of the same pay period. I've tried calling and no one has a explanation for this. In Total it has been a deduction of over $15k from my account. How do I get my money back and make this not happen again?

I know how important a single penny considering it t vanished from your account for no reason.  We'll make sure you'll be able to get your money back and prevent this from happening again, Sully406.

The best thing that we can do at the moment is to contact our support team again. Then, ensure to forward a copy of the email that you received which states that you were indeed deducted with payroll taxes. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and be able to check and trace the source of the deduction. You can follow the steps below:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter your concern.
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.

Furthermore, payroll isn't just about paychecks. There are times you may also need to pay for things like health insurance, retirement, uniforms, tools, or dues. To learn more about how you set up a deduction item, learn from this article for your guide: Set Up, Change, or Delete Employee-Paid Payroll Deductions.

Got any other concerns aside from payroll taxes? Well, feel free to drop me a line so I can help you.
