Preview in payroll will not open- W2 will not open to view either. help!

Unusual behavior in Quickbooks can be caused by a long period of stored data files on your browser. We can clear this out by performing a few troubleshooting steps.

Let's access your account using a private or incognito window to check if you can successfully view your payroll. You can refer to these shortcut keys:

• Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
• Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome.
• Hold down Command + Shift + N for Safari.

If it works, we'll have to clear your browser's cache. This removes excessive files from your browser and optimizes its performance. We can also use other compatible browsers as an alternative.
