Question

QB collected over $7K for my OH Unemployment & did not file 2nd & 3rd qtr. I had to file myself. Cost for both qtrs & penalties- $2500. How can I get my money back?

I have called and chatted with QB so many times- for countless hours. I keep getting run around and told a supervisor will contact me- it doesn't happen.

Hello there, @tebeau3.

I want to assist you regarding your concern about taxes that were not filed for your company in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Beforehand, I can see the effort you exerted in getting in touch with our Customer Care Team and having this matter taken care of. I’d also do the same if I were in your position and had the amount that has been taken intended for your taxes. Rest assured that we will take into account your experience with our support to improve our way of providing resolution to our valued customers.

On the other hand, I have this issue checked with one of our dedicated teams to see the progress or the actions taken by the previous support that handled this. With that, they informed me that a case had been created and submitted to the right department that should handle this type of concern. Nonetheless, we’re keeping an eye on this matter and will update you through this thread once we get new information.

Stay in touch if you have other QuickBooks-related concerns. I’ll be around to assist you further. Stay safe!

Nothing is resolved yet, but I'm finally getting responses. I have heard "Miss Tanya, do you have documentation?, I must clarify", a hundred times through both phone calls and chats. Those are the words that keep getting repeated over and over.  My frustration level is over the top with Quickbooks and I am shopping for a new payroll program.
