QB Desktop will not produce W2 for 2024 only 2023

It's great to see a new face here in the Community! We'd be more than happy to provide some steps to help you produce your W-2's for 2024. 

To clarify, is your QuickBooks Desktop updated to the latest release? If not, this could be the reason why you're only able to produce W-2's from 2023. Here's how: 

1. Go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
2. Press Update Now, then Get Updates.
3. Close and reopen QuickBooks to install the update again.
