QBO - PAYROLL CHECK NUMBERS

I ran payroll in QBO Advanced. There are no check numbers. I tried to add check numbers (went to paycheck list>selected check > edit: new screen - entered check number. Received an error message "invalid check number". Our check number series start with 3 letters, followed bu numbers.

This was never an issue in QB Desktop.

If RPT123, is not valid, please share what the requirements are. I can't find that anywhere.

Please note. this is not an issue for regular checks, just payroll checks.

At this time, adding letters to paycheck numbers isn't available in QuickBooks Online. I understand how beneficial having this option would be for you and your business. With that said, I wanted to mention that you can submit this suggestion to our Product Development Team. Our Developers review each request and consider them all for future updates.
