Question

Quarterly 941 and State reports are not showing up to file. No settings were changed and set up to initiate payments and filings using QB online. What do I do?

Choose Form 941 to make sure it appears on the Filing page, or you can check the Archived forms to see if it was manually filed by mistake. If it was, you can delete it from the archived forms. I'll guide you further on how to make it available, Okie129.

First, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu.
  2. In the Payroll Tax section, click Filings.
  3. Hit the Filter button. Then, tick the 941 and state form boxes.
  4. Click Apply to reflect the changes.

If it still doesn't appear, follow these steps:

  1. Head to Archived.
  2. Customize the start and end date.
  3. Locate the form, then click the drop-down arrow next to the View button.
  4. Hit Delete.

Once you've completed the task, return to the Filings tab and review the form. If the form still does not appear, I suggest contacting our Payroll Support Team to examination your account thoroughly. Within your QBO account, go to the Help icon and select Contact us.

No, it did not resolve because when I clicked on the Filings, there wasn't a 941 listed.  Iam using the online version.  It shows Tax jurisdiction, Time period, and Status.  The Tax Jurisdiction has Federal and OK, but no 941 listed.
