Quick Books Payroll is asking for my Rhode Island 10 digit employer tax number and the number assigned to me by the state is only 9 digits long. Any Suggestions?

I recommend you contact the state agency if you can't find the complete Employer Tax Information number. This way, you'll be able to provide QuickBooks Payroll the correct Rhode Island employer tax information.
