Quickbooks desktop payroll help

One of our clients is having trouble sharing the right Payroll Journal file in Quickbooks desktop version.
I need help from Quickbooks to tell me the name of the report in the version "QuickBooks Accountant Desktop 2021 Release R14P"

In another version of the desktop the report is called Wages by Detail,
but the client does not have that report, I think it called something else in the mentioned version.
I need to know the name of the report.

The list of payroll reports on the report menu in QB hasn't changed in years.  None of the reports are called a "Payroll Journal file" or "Wages by Detail":

 

However, within the Summarize Payroll in Excel feature, there is a report called the Employee Journal by Check. Is that be what you're looking for?  It looks like this:

Is this report shows the gross paycheck or the net (what the employee actually receives) ?

Hello there,

 

You can pull up the Employee Journal by Check report to view your employee's gross paycheck or the total net. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Select Employees & Payroll and choose Summarize Payroll Data in Excel. You'll be prompted to open the report in Excel.
  3. Click the Get QuickBooks Data button.
