QUICKBOOKS DID NOT SET UP MY PAYROLL TAXES PROPERLY. I SENT THEM THE RATES. To the EMAIL THEY TOLD ME TO SEND THEM TO. THEN THEY DID NOT UPDATE THEM.I am SO IRRITATED

Having the right tax rate is essential for us to make sure that calculations are accurate. Can you tell us what the tax rate was and if you're using Full Service Payroll? 

 

Please note that once we received your tax notice, you’ll get a confirmation email with a case number and additional details. When complete, a tax specialist will email you with the required resolution, any steps we have taken on your behalf, and additional action required from you (if applicable).

 

However, I would also recommend reaching out to our payroll support team. They can take a look at your payroll account and check what happened to the rate that you send to us. Here's how to reach out to them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner of your QBO account.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human" in the chatbox, then press Enter. Then, type in the same keyword and press Enter one more time.
  3. Select No.
  4. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you.
