Quickbooks online taking payroll taxes out of wrong bank account This happened before and was a glitch

Making sure tax payroll are taken from the right account to avoid having errors with your filings.

Since you mentioned that the payroll taxes were taken from the wrong account, I suggest you delete the existing payment posted to the wrong account.

After that, we can proceed with updating your bank account. To do so, here’s how:

1. Go to the Gear icon, and select Payroll Settings.
2. Look for the section titled Bank Accounts and select Edit.
3. Click Update, then select Add new bank account.
4. If you bank with one of the 8 banks listed, select the bank and enter your online banking user ID and password. You can also search for your bank's name or select Enter bank info manually. Enter your routing number and account number, then select Save.
5. Select Accept and Submit.

 
Once done, let’s recreate the tax payment in the correct bank account.
