I have been on the phone for hours a day. My bank says QB got the money. All the ACH tracking agrees. QB says they paid my employee but the ACH tracking isn’t traceable. QB says it’s my problem. My bank can’t refund cause QB has their money. What do I do?!!

I wish you didn't have to experience such challenges paying your employees in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @goodboygroomers-. Don't worry, I'm here to ensure this gets sorted out.

It seems like the issue is related to how your employee's payments are set up in QuickBooks. If you set up your employees for direct deposit, the payments go directly to their accounts. This helps bypass the current roadblock you're experiencing with the ACH tracking. ,

Also, double-check the account and routing number of your employees when sending payments. Mistakes in these numbers can lead to funds being deposited into the wrong account or not reaching the intended recipient at all. Verifying this information helps to minimize the risk of errors and ensures that your employees receive their payments accurately and on time.

If you set up your employee for direct deposit and verified the account and routing number are correct, I suggest reaching out to our Payroll support team again to check for any unexpected errors or discrepancies that occur. The support team can pull up your account securely which I'm unable to do here in this public forum. That way, they can help pinpoint the root cause and resolve any issues that may be preventing the smooth processing of your payroll.

They can be reached while using QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help icon in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Select Search, then press the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter your question in the box and hit Continue.
  4. Choose the best way you'll want to reach out to us.

Consider checking their available hours so you'll be addressed promptly.

Moreover, QuickBooks offers several payroll reports to learn more about other available business statements of your employees.

Let me know if you have follow-up questions about sending payments to employees in QuickBooks. I'm always around to help.

I can assure you all this has been done. I have spent multiple hours a day trying to resolve this issue. I have had one of your employees on the line while he called my bank and my employee called her bank to speak with each other on a recorded line. I’ve had to give my employee and my bank statements for the last 30 days and proof the funds were never received. I’ve tried everything. She has been receiving direct deposit for a year and has received one after. There is only one week of issue. At this point it’s 100% theft on QBs end. I have proved without question the money has been taken from me and never given to my employee. I’m out a lot of money.
