Ran 9/15/23 payroll by mistake/ wanted to run 8/31 payroll, how to i fix this?

I've got easy steps to delete your payroll data, @rnisco.

I'm here to ensure you can delete the incorrect payroll data in QuickBooks Online. Thus, you can re-create the paychecks with the correct pay period.

If you're using paper checks on your employees, you can eliminate that anytime in QuickBooks. Let me guide you on how.

1. Go to the Payroll tab and choose Employees. 
2. Click the Paycheck list hyperlink under Run payroll. 
3. Pick the exact Date Range in the drop-down and choose Run report. 
4. Tick the paycheck you want to remove under the small drop-down arrow under Actions, then select Delete. 
5. Put a checkmark on the I understand that this action cannot be undone and further action is required box.
6. Hit the Delete Paycheck button to confirm.

But if you're using Direct Deposit, ensure that the payroll is not yet processed. This way, you can remove and re-create them swiftly. To delete them, you can follow the steps outlined above. Once deleted, you can now recreate them with the correct pay date.
