Thank you for visiting the Community, usersupport6.

I acknowledge the importance of ensuring that your employees are paid on time. I'm here to assist you and provide guidance on how to handle this issue effectively.

In this situation, you'll have to manually write a check to pay your employees. Let's use the same bank account for your payroll to ensure seamless tracking. You may want to write a memo to know what happened to the entries.

Here's how:

  1. In your company, navigate to the Plus icon in the upper right and choose Checks under Vendors
  2. On the Check # To print page, click the Payee drop-down and select the employee's name from the list.
  3. From the Bank Account drop-down, choose the account you use for payroll.
  4. In the Category details, fill in the fields with the correct information, especially the payroll amount.
  5. Press Save and new to write another check for your employee.

In addition to that, you can arrange an internal agreement with your employees concerning their payroll. They can return the direct deposit pay or take it as an employee advance.
