Hello,

I am wondering how to set up taxes for remote employees that live in other states but work in Maine.

We have remote employees in, TN, PA, NH, and MA.

How can I get this set up and remit the right taxes to the IRS?
& how would filing look on the employee end when it comes to it at the end of year?

Thank you!

Thanks for dropping by here in the Community, @TTapeLive. Allow me to share some details about setting up taxes for remote employees.

With regards to this matter, I’d recommend contacting state withholding and unemployment insurance agencies to further assist you on which taxes to apply for the specific situation of your employees. Also, to get you registered for the applicable account numbers you’ll need for paying those taxes and filing the forms.
