I ran payroll 2 weeks ago (3/1/23). I am currently running payroll today (3/15/23) and there seems to have been a huge update to the run payroll screen. I have been with QB payroll since 02/2017 and have had many issues before that I have just gotten used to making changes in my workflow to accommodate all QB changes/updates even though they should be accommodating the customer. So the update looks nice and I was excited for a refreshing change. However, now that I am entering all the data there seems to be issues that I cannot continue to use QB payroll if they don't get fixed: Before the update I would always click on the regular pay box for each employee and tab over to the next field, if necessary. Now I have to tab to the next employee's regular pay field (for reasons listed in #2) which now takes 8 times to press Tab to enter the regular pay hours. If you have a lot of employees it's ends up being too much work for no reason.I use my mouse to click that box for the next employee's hours. When I do that it automatically moves back up to the very top of the screen. Then I have to scroll all the way down to where I left off. That's an issue. **I wish there was a function where I could use the down arrow on my keyboard to move to the next employee's regular pay box!**It also doesn’t allow me to enter anything less than 1 hour in any fields where I enter hours. I have to go in to edit a paycheck in order to enter .50 hour (or .25 or .75). Never had to do that before this update. **This needs to be fixed**When I scroll down the top with all the titles does NOT move with me like it used to. I don't know if I am entering accurate data without having to scroll all the way back up to check it every single time I enter data in a field. The hours or dollar amount could be wrong if I enter in the wrong box for the wrong employee. **Can someone "freeze pane" on the update?**Also, with this update the spacing for each employee line is so large that it takes forever to scroll through all employees. **Possibly make an option for compact like it used to have**

Hello there, @tmansavage. I'll share an insight about running payroll inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before anything else, know that I understand how having the option to simplify the process when running payroll inside the program can help you save a lot of time and cater to other portions of your business in QBO.

Upon checking here on my end, the option you're trying to access is currently available inside the program. I want to ensure you can get through this, and with that said, I recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development Team. Doing this allows them to see your feature recommendation and consider adding it for future product updates. To begin, here's how:

Access your QuickBooks Online company.
On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
Below the Profile column, select Send Feedback.
Enter a brief description of your feature request.
Once you're ready, press Send.

I have EXACT same issues with the new payroll updates. Screen jumps up and down, rows are too wide to scroll, takes forever when you have lots of employees, no totals in the bottom while entering data. I spent hours on the phone with Customer Support with no result. The update obviously has bugs and should be unrolled back till fixed.
