Sending direct deposit issue

I use QB Premier Plus Nonprofit Edition 2024. I am trying to send direct deposit for the first time and it states it's sending 100 paychecks with pay stubs and 10 for direct deposit. I am only direct depositing 10 checks. The summary is showing that it's sending pay checks back to October 2023, but all show $0 as they were paid with paper checks. It won't allow me to change the 100 checks and I'm uncertain what will occur if I send all. Has anyone else encountered this?

Hello there, KristenO89. You're on the right track in sending direct deposit paychecks in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. We'll provide more information to clear up any confusion.

Ideally, QuickBooks should show all the paychecks you've created, which is why you're seeing an extra one hundred with pay stubs. However, only the 10 direct deposit checks will be processed once you've sent them all.

Whenever you're ready, please see this article for the complete guide: Send direct deposit paychecks in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

Also, you might get an error message saying QuickBooks has encountered a problem sending your usage data when updating payroll or sending your payroll data. To resolve this, refer to the article: Fix error QuickBooks has encountered a problem sending your usage data.
