Question

Setting up new account with direct deposit from my client. It took me through W-9/1099 taxes info but did not let me enter bank info for direct deposit. How do I do that?

Hello, jenn. Let me share some details on successfully entering your bank information for direct deposit in QBSE

To completely set up direct deposit for your clients using QBSE, you can use the same QBSE account you've used for your W-9. To do so, here's how:

  1. Add your direct deposit information in QBSE.
  2. Receive a direct deposit
  3. Update your direct deposit information.

For more detailed steps, check the As the contractor receiving direct deposits dropdown in this article: Get direct deposits from your clients in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

After following these, you can now add bank information.

Furthermore, you can check this article to prepare for this year's payroll: Year-end checklist for QuickBooks Payroll.

If you have other concerns about entering your bank information in QBSE, don't hesitate to reply to this post. We're always here, ready to help you.
