I'm glad to see you here in the Community, kidcurry0124.

Let's get your QuickBooks Online fonts changed.

If you wish to change the font size for better viewing of your QuickBooks Online, you can hold the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" sign simultaneously on your keyboard. Or, you can hold the "Ctrl" key and then scroll up.

However, if you want to increase the font size on your printed sales forms in QuickBooks Online, you can edit it in the Custom Form Styles window.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear icon at the top right.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Look for your form style, and then click Edit.
  4. Go to the Design tab.
  5. Click on the Select a different font option.
  6. Select your desired font size. We have three choices available: 8, 10, and 12pts.
  7. Click Preview or Print to see how your form would look like, and then click Done

This will get you going, kidcurry0124. Let me know if you have additional concerns about QuickBooks, I’m here to assist you further. Have a great day!

In QuickBooks Online I used the CTRL - to reduce the font so I could see the Balance in the Bank Register. I can't increase the font back to normal using CTRL +. Everything in the entire program is too small. Thanks.

Hi there, @Ruth4.

Thank you for getting back to me and letting me know the outcome of the steps provided by my colleague. Allow me to help share some additional solutions to get this straightened out.

To start, let's check the settings on your computer to make sure it displays all pages properly. QuickBooks Online requires these settings:

  • Screen resolution set to 1024x768 or higher
  • Dots-per-inch (DPI) set to "Normal" or "100%"

After that, please refer to the steps below to change the font size in your browser:

  1. On the upper right, go to the menu icon (looks like a three-dotted line).
  2. Locate the Zoom option.
  3. Choose the plus (+) icon to zoom in and make the page larger. It should be set to 100% or lower to display the full page.

Please take note that this will work on any page that's either too big or too small, not just QuickBooks Online.

If you get the same results, let's perform a few troubleshooting steps to verify if this has something to do with your browser’s cache. A typical browser uses a cache of memory to work efficiently and load pages faster, but as data collects it can cause unexpected results.

You can start signing in to QuickBooks using a private browser. The steps vary per browser used:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P

If the private browsing session works fine, you'll need to go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can check this article for the steps: How do I clear the temporary Internet files and cache?

That should answer your concern for today. Get back to me and let me know how it goes, I’m always here to help. Have a good one!
