The option to upload MILE IQ trips is not available anymore. what happened? it would have been nice if they would have given a heads up

I’ve got here some troubleshooting steps to help you sort out this issue with the Import MileIQ option in QuickBooks Self-Employed. 

To begin with, there are times when too much historical data from the browser causes discrepancies that affect the view and performance of your QuickBooks. Thus, it might be the reason why the option to Import MileIQ is unavailable.  

In the meantime, I suggest logging in to your QBSE using a private window. It doesn't use the existing cache files to help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. 

Feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

If it works, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

If the option is still unavailable, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support team. This way, they can further investigate the matter of why this option is unavailable for you.

As a workaround, you’ll want to add miles manually in QBSE. Here’s how: 

1. Go to Mileage.
2. Select the Add trip button.
3. Fill in the date, starting/ending locations, distance, and trip purpose.
4. Click on Save.
