You should see a test deposit amount in your account within 2-3 banking days after you set up your bank in QuickBooks Online Payroll, Lisa. I'll provide details on how to access this information so you can verify your account and activate direct deposit or e-pay and e-file services.

We run a test deposit of less than $1.00 when you link your account to ensure we can process your direct deposits or tax payments. To determine the exact amount, I recommend reviewing your bank statement or reaching out to your financial institution.

After obtaining the test deposit amount, log in to QuickBooks Payroll as a Primary admin or Master admin and then enter it without the decimal point.
