I'd be pleased to help you with fixing your payroll tax calculations, Beatriz.

To edit or delete a paycheck, you'll need to ensure that there are no system blockers such as:

  • Taxes that have already been filed.
  • You're using the integrated workers' compensation partner and the payroll data has already been sent to that partner on the pay date.

If everything is good, you can follow these steps to access payroll corrections:

  1. Go to the Paycheck list page.
  2. Look for the paycheck you want to correct.
  3. Select the down arrow on the far right of that row.

Once the correction is done, the system will automatically recalculate your taxes owed and make any necessary adjustments with the next payroll run.

However, if you encounter any of the blockers, you'll need to contact our support team for them to do the correction for you. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click on the Help (?) icon.
  3. Choose Contact Us.
  4. Type in your concern, then select Let's Talk.
  5. Pick a way to connect with us.

In case you want to add deductions your employee needs to pay each payday, you can check out this article for guidance: Set up, change, or delete employee-paid payroll deductions.
