There is no resend invite on Quickbooks Online Payroll and can't find the link to email the employee. Now what?

The email address has been there for a long time.  It never changed to the "We sent" text.  I tried removing the email and saving and then come back and re-add the email with check box marked.  Still the same.  I cleared the cache and tried again and still no change.

The Resend link is only available if you have initially invited the employee to view their paystub. Let's try removing the email address of your employee and save it. Once completed, log out from your QuickBooks account and log in again. Doing this, your system will be updated.

 

 

Once log-in, you can enter the employee's email address and save it. QuickBooks will automatically send the invitation to your employee.

You can find the Resend invite option from the Manage users window. I've outlined the steps below for your reference:

 

  1. Go to Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage Users.
  3. Find the user you need to invite again.
  4. Select Resend invite in the Action column.

Maybe I didn't word the question properly.  This is for the employees to receive their pay stubs.  The help articles say to click the Resend next to the "Invite this employee to view their pay stubs and W-2s online. "

No Resend only Learn more.  Nothing on the "Learn More" to tell how to resend invite.

The Resend link will only appear once you entered an email address and save it.

Let's enter the email address of your employees on the Email field and make sure to check the Invite this employee to view their pay stubs and W-2s online option. This way, QuickBooks will automatically invite them for online paycheck access upon saving their profile.

We rehired a former employee.  I need to resend the invitation to view paystubs. There is no resend in personal info in our QB version.

Thanks for joining in this thread, @MT59. I'm here to help ensure your rehired employee can view their paystubs online again. 

 

First off, you'll need to log in as a company admin or master admin in QuickBooks to send and resend invitations to employees. Then, you'll be able to see the resend button on the employee's personal info page. 

 

I'd also appreciate it if you can share with me the error message if there's any or send me a screenshot so I can look for a better way to resolve this issue.
