There is no TO DO LIST to verify account after I add a payroll bank account

At the beginning, I used a payroll bank account A, then I changed to a new bank account B. But now I still want to use account A for payroll. So I add A again in Payroll Setting, and there are 2 small amounts deposited from account A. However there is no TO DO LIST to verify this bank account A. I want to know why? Can I use account A to pay salary now? Thanks.

Hello, reina sang.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I can help you verify your test transaction amounts in QBO. It is possible that browser related issue. Sometimes an overloaded browser stops QuickBooks Online from working correctly.

Open QuickBooks in a private or incognito window to see if the issue is with your browser. This can help us eliminate any cache-related problems that may have led to the issues. To open it, use the following shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P

If the steps above are successful, I suggest clearing your browser's cache to boost browser-related issues. Some data stored on your browser can impact the transmitted data, resulting in some unusual responses.

If private browsing does not work, I recommend using a different browser. They'll provide you with the best and most secure QuickBooks experience possible. For more information, please see this article: System Requirements For QuickBooks.

However, if there's still no New payroll tasks option, here's another way to verify the test transaction:

  1. Go to Settings, then Payroll settings.
  2. In Bank accounts, tap Edit.
  3. Click Verify Amount, then enter and confirm the Amount.

For additional reference, you can check this article: Verify test transaction.

Please know I'm just a post away if you have any other questions about the direct deposit. Wishing you and your business continued success.
