It's possible that the system is taking a bit longer than expected to retrieve your data, which can be caused by the particular browser you're currently using. In order to troubleshoot this issue, let me provide some assistance to you, Trevor Coombs.

You can log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account using a private window. Use the shortcut keys below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

This tool deletes stored cookies and browsing history, restoring your browser to a pristine and error-free state. Check to see if the error is gone and if your browsing is back to normal. If it is, clear your cache from your browser's settings to prevent further issues. Sometimes cached files and data can cause a webpage to reload or loop. Also, some browsers have an automatic page reload setting which can cause issues like this.

But if the problem persists, try switching to another supported browser.

Furthermore, learn how to understand the flow of the platform especially the tools and features available. This will help you navigate the interface and quickly locate the tools and features to achieve your goal. I've added this resource where you can browse some of the articles: Get Started in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Please get back to us if you have any questions about adding tax information and direct deposit. Our team is always available to provide support and guidance, and we're committed to helping you every step of the way.
