I'll make sure that you can get your payroll running, @laf3.

To begin with, may I know if you found some error on your screen when running payroll? This can help us determine if there are some missing details we need to fill in, like employee details or ways to pay them or update your payroll preferences.

In the meantime, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate this issue. It could be that the accumulated cache in the browser is preventing you from running payroll.

You may start by accessing your QuickBooks account in a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't save web searches and cookies. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

Once you're on track, try processing your payroll again. If it's working well, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to delete the accumulated junk files. Switching to other supported browsers can also help fix this issue as an alternative.

In addition, here's an article that you can read to help trail where your business stands in terms of payroll liability and employee expenses: Run payroll reports.

I'm still here if you need more help with your other payroll tasks. I'll wait here to help you out more. Have a great weekend!
