Welcome to the Community! We understand how time-consuming it can be when your program experiences runtime issues, especially when it affects your business operations. We want to ensure that you don't have to go through this kind of situation.

Since you are receiving an error that typically occurs when your subscription expires, we suggest that you verify your billing and subscription status immediately. Then, resubscribe to your QuickBooks payroll subscription if necessary. We will gladly guide you through the process:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Choose Billing & Subscription, then Resubscribe for payroll.
  3. After reviewing the Subscription summary, enter your payment information and method.
  4. Tap Resubscribe when you're done.

For more details, you can check out this article: Reactivate your QuickBooks Payroll subscription.

There is no option to Re-Subscribe. It was never unsubscribed.

Hey there, damartin7.

I've checked with my tools and have not found any related issue regarding the no option to resubscribe. One of the possible reasons why you don't see this option is a technical glitch, or temporary system issues can prevent the resubscribe option from appearing. In such cases, clearing the cache to delete temporary files stored on your computer or web browser is advisable. These files are created to help your browser load web pages faster and improve your overall experience.

However, over time, these files can accumulate and cause issues with the performance of QuickBooks Online. Clearing the cache can help resolve problems such as slow loading times, display issues, or error messages.

To clear the cache in QuickBooks Online, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open a new browser window and access QuickBooks Online.
  2. Depending on the browser you are using, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts to open the browser's settings:
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or Command + Shift + Delete (Mac).
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) or Command + Shift + Delete (Mac).
  • Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Command + Shift + Delete (Mac).
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

       3. Select the option to clear browsing data or history in the browser's settings or history menu.

       4. Choose the appropriate options, such as cache or temporary files, and uncheck any data you want to keep, like saved passwords.

       5. Click the "Clear" or "Delete" button to remove the selected data.

       6. Once the cache is cleared, close the browser window and open a new one.

       7. Sign in to QuickBooks Online again and check if the issues you were experiencing have been resolved.

However, If you're still unable to see the resubscribe option, you can contact our QuickBooks Online support. They'll be able to look closely at your account and help you resolve the resubscribing issue in no time.
