Hello there, bcreindl.

I'm here to help you process your paycheck.

You can process backdated paycheck in QuickBooks Online Payroll, you just need to void the most recent payroll so can enter a new one.

Then, you can start backdating those paychecks. Let me show you how to do that.

  1. Create your paychecks.
  2. Change the paycheck date to the date you paid your employee.
  3. Enter the pay period if necessary.
  4. Change the check type from direct deposit to paper check if that's how you paid them.
  5. Then, submit your payroll.

I've added the Process a late payroll (backdate paychecks) to learn more on how to backdate payroll checks in QuickBooks.

I'll be here if you have other questions or concerns about backdating paychecks. Don't hesitate to tag my name in the comment section. Take care.
