Question

Unable to log into WorkForce

I've been trying to log into WorkForce all week to enter my payment information so I can receive my paycheck, but every time I do so I get the error message of "There’s an issue on our end. We’re on it." this has been happening all week every time I attempt to log in. I can sign into TSheets just fine. Is there something I'm missing or something my employer may have to do? I've already attempted it in multiple browsers and in incognito windows.

Hi there, CaitlinHobbs.

Thank you for posting here in QuickBooks Community. I appreciate you providing the troubleshooting steps you've done to resolve the issue about log into WorkForce.

However, the error "there’s an issue on our end. We’re on it" is currently under investigation. We already submitted a notification about this, and our engineers are now working to fix it as soon as possible.

I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team, so they can add you to our notification list. This will help our engineers determine the number of affected users. You'll also receive an update through email once this has been resolved.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Account.
  2. At the top right, click the Help icon.
  3. Type unable to log into the WorkForce in the Type something field.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Hit Contact us.
  6. You'll be routed into the How can we help? page. Then, select how you want to contact them and fill in the information.

You can browse this article to learn more about the different types of support we offer at Intuit and its availability: Support hours and types.

Please refer to this article to see different information on how you can view your paychecks, W-2s, and other employment info such as your home address and bank account info through QuickBooks Workforce: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce.

Keep me posted about this or if there's anything else I can help you with. I'd be happy to offer further assistance. Have a good one.

trying to reach a human....and there is no option for that.  Only chat....I have tried to set up a chat 5 times now and it doesn't even take me to a chat box...just has me fill in my info, hit submit and then NOTHING. NOT A THING. NADA ZIP ZILTCH.  Pretty freaking frustrated and highly upset that I have NO OTHER WAY to get in touch with ANYONE over at Quickbooks.  WTH.

This is not the impression we want you to have, @Kelly61.

Let's run your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. There are times that cache and cookies stored on the browser cause problems when running websites. Refer to these shortcut keys to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once signed in, go to the Help icon and click the Contact us button.

If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. This will remove the stored cache or cookies to refresh your browser. If not, use another supported browser. It could be that the one you're currently using has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.

Another option is to connect with them via browser. Here's how:

  1. Head to the Contact support page at this link.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online
  3. Click on Search for something else and enter a brief description of your concern in the search box.
  4. Hit Search.
  5. Select Start a Message.

You can also use our QBO test drive to initiate a chat with our QBO care team. To do so, refer to these steps:

  1. Head to QBO test drive at this link.
  2. Click the Help menu and select Contact us.
  3. In the What can we help you? field, enter your concern.
  4. Hit Continue.
  5. Choose Chat with us.

I also encourage you to visit our QBO Help page. From there, you can browse articles or get some ideas from other QuickBooks users and experts. This way, you'll get more insights that can help you with your QuickBooks tasks.

Please know that you can always post here in the Community for any concern you have with QuickBooks. I'm always here to help you. Have a good one.

I had the same problem and I feel your pain! My issue was because the QB administrator email cannot be the same as the one used to invite an employee via Workforce.

Try the following:

- Open QB

- Goto Employees>Manage Payroll Cloud Services

- Click "Invite employees" and login using your normal account email and password

- In the window showing all the names, check the check box next to the name of the person (on the left) (in my case, it was me, the administrator) IT's VERY IMPORTANT TO CHECK THE BOX ON THE LEFT FIRST!!!

- Click in the window where the email address is, delete it and write in a different email address (I used my personal email)

- Click "Send Invite"

You should get a new invitation to the personal email address. If you don't click that left checkbox first, it won't change your email and will keep sending invitations to the administrator's email address. This has been driving me nuts for months. I'm so glad I finally worked it out. I hope it works for you.

I'm here to provide you other options to fix your payroll concern.
