Under employee status part time is not an option how do i change that ?

every time i do payroll i have to edit this employee because i cant make them part time !!

Let me share some information about setting up part-time employees in QuickBooks Online (QBO), faithmedical.

 

We can set up your part-time (PT) employees the same way we set up casual employees. In this type of employment, we just set them up as hourly employees. You don’t need to follow the payroll schedule since they are part-timers in your company. Hence, you can run payroll anytime.

 

Here’s how you can set up employees:

 

  1. From the left navigation pane, select the Payroll menu.
  2. Select the Employees tab, and click the Add employee button.
  3. Enter the employee’s information.
  4. In the 4th section, How much do you pay this employee? make sure to select Hourly from the dropdown.
  5. Press Done.
