Thanks for letting us know, rvahealt. I'll share information when managing payroll checks in your QuickBooks Online account.

Beforehand, may I know if you've received a specific error when creating postdated payroll checks in your account? Any additional details are much appreciated.

In QBO Payroll, postdated payroll checks should be created within the current quarter, provided your tax forms haven't yet been filed.

However, if you've created these checks in the correct period and still unable to create postdated checks, I recommend performing some troubleshooting steps to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You may use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If postdated checks are populating successfully, you may go back to your default browser and clear its cache or use a different supported browser.

Additionally, here's a reference you can utilize to help you pay and file payroll taxes: Set up QuickBooks Online Payroll to pay and file your payroll taxes and forms.

I'll be available in this forum if there's anything else you require further assistance with managing payroll in your account. Stay safe, and have a good one!
