Updated Iowa 4

We are using quickbooks online payroll. We are in Iowa with Iowa employees. The updated 2024 for the state of Iowa W4 has changed to dollar  amounts instead of numbers.    When I go to change the employees state W4 information in quicbooks online it is the old version based on numbers not dollar amount.   

When will be quickbooks online be fixed to mirror the Iowa W4 form ?

Presently, entering withholding in Iowa (IA) state is still in number instead of dollar amount. Even if the update is rolling, we can't provide you the exact time frame when the new W-4 Form for (IA) will reflect. I know how this would be helpful on your end.

 

In the meantime, we recommend sending direct feedback to our Product Development Team to further look into this matter. Here's how:

 

  1. Select Settings ⚙, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.
