Thank you for posting here in the Community, @Boqueron.
Allow me to provide information about updating employees' information.
Updated employees' information won't reflect on the already processed paycheck. However, if the paycheck is still pending, you can still revert it. This way, the updated gross annual salary will reflect on the paycheck detail. Before we proceed, let's first update your payroll tax table to stay compliant with paycheck calculation. Once done, please follow the steps below on reverting paycheck:
- Go to the Employees menu, then select Pay Employees.
- Click Scheduled Payroll or Unscheduled payroll.
- Select Resume Scheduled Payroll.
- Right-click on the employee name you wish to undo the changes.
- Click Revert Paychecks.
I'm adding this article for more guidance: Save or revert pending payroll checks.
If you need to go through the already processed payroll to change the gross annual salary, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Team. They can provide further assistance in correcting your previous payroll.
You might also want to run and customize payroll reports in your QuickBooks Desktop. This helps you manage your payroll and keep track of employees' expenses.
Should you need any assistance processing payroll, I'm available here to help any time! Wishing you all the best, @Boqueron.
