My federal w-2 will not file electronically. Get an error; Missing deposit frequency. Any ideas?

There's an ongoing issue about getting the "Missing deposit frequency" error when trying to electronically file the W-2 forms. Our engineers are working to fix this as soon as possible. Select your product and fill out the form to connect with an expert. You must be logged in to use the new support links.

  • Intuit Online Payroll - You must be logged in to Intuit Online Payroll to use the new Contact Us link. If the link doesn't work for you, fill out this form to chat with an expert.
  • Intuit Full Service Payroll - You must be logged in to Intuit Full Service Payroll to use the new Contact Us link. If the link doesn't work for you, fill out this form to chat with an expert.
