I want to ensure you can enter W4 information for your employees and process payroll for them, @accounts529.

I've checked our records and haven't found any report similar to this. To confirm if we are on the same page, I'd like to verify if you get an error message during the process. Any additional information will help determine a timely solution to this.

In the meantime, I recommend opening your account in a private or incognito window. It's the best place to check web issues.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

If you were able to save W4 information for your employees, go back to the regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the program. It's advisable to free them periodically to prevent and fix issues like this.

To learn more about editing employee information, here's an article you can check: Add your new employee to QuickBooks Payroll.

Additionally, we have several payroll reports you can use to view helpful information about your business' finances and employees. If you wish to see the complete list and guide to access and customize them, please see this article: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

If you have other payroll concerns or questions about managing employees in QBO, I'm always ready to help. Take care, and have a great day, @accounts529.
