Let me share insights on how you can complete your W-2 and W-3 forms for 2023, @Igtrucking.

Since you weren't able to file the 2023 W-2 and W-3 forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you’ll need to handle them manually this time. You can download the W-2 forms directly from the IRS website and submit them to the SSA. If you’d like more detailed instructions, check out the IRS Publication for helpful guidance.

You can also print the W-2s. Additionally, you may need to send a W-3 to your accountant. To print your W-2 from 2023, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Taxes and choose Payroll tax.
  2. Click Filing and select Resources. Then, W-2s.
  3. Review the list of employees who opted for printed copies.
  4. If your automated taxes and forms setting is Off, review your Form W-2 print setting. Select Change Settings to modify the paper type if needed.
  5. Select View or Manage on the copy you need.
  6. Click View and print.
  7. Select the Print icon on the Adobe Reader toolbar, then click Print.
