WA PFML not calculating anymore

I have a question that I can not figure out.  My WA Paid Family and Medical Leave has worked find until recently.  All of a sudden it does not calculate the amount.  I have to manually calculate the amount and enter it into the payroll information screen myself.  I have verified that it is correctly set up in payroll items.  I have also gone in to each employee and made sure that it is correctly set up under "other" taxes.  Please help!  Thanks

Thanks for reaching out to us here today, I'll help share the information about the WA PFML. You can check to see if the you've set up a limit for WA PFML. Let me guide you how.

 

  1. Go to Lists, then select Payroll Item List.
  2. Double-check on WA – Paid Fam Med Leave Emp or WA – Paid Fam Med Leave Co. The limit column will help you determine if you've set up a limit amount to stop from deducting.
  3. Click Close.

 

If you don't have a limit for this payroll item, you'll want to create an adjustment. This process will auto-correct your deductions moving forward. Refer to these articles below for details:
