Wages on P&L don't match-up with actual wages paid

On my P&L it says I've paid out $50,602 in wages, but my payroll details say I paid out $31,285 in gross wages. The other day I found a place where the wages were duplicating, but I can't get back there and I don't know how to fix this. Can anyone help?! Thank you.

You can click on the wages number to get a detailed report. From there, review the numbers to see what is making up the total.

 

It could be that there is one more payroll date on the report than you're expecting or that expenses other than wages are being included in the account, from paycheck details or from some other source.
