Anyone else getting this error when they process payroll in QBO?  Payroll processes fine but the message won't go away.

I can think of a reason why you're getting that issue while processing payroll in QuickBooks Online, Marilyn. I'm here to help you sort things out.

 

Currently, there's no known issue with the error message that you get. Sometimes stored cache affects the behavior of the browser. You're likely experiencing a browser-related issue. 

 

I recommend performing some basic troubleshooting procedures to isolate this. Start by logging in to your QBO account using an incognito page. Here are the shortcut keys to open it:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

 

If the message is gone, then you'll need to clear your regular browser cache. This helps resolve any unusual browser problem.

 

If the issue continues, use another compatible browser.

Still having the same issue in an incognito window and in microsoft edge.

I can see that you did everything you could, @Marilyn11_2. I understand that it's crucial to process payroll on time.

 

Since you're still encountering the same error, I recommend contacting our Support Team. From there, you can request for a screen sharing session to further investigate the root cause of this issue. This way, we can determine the best solution to resolve this so you can process paychecks.

 

Here's how:

 

1. Go to the Help menu, and select Search.
2. Click Contact Us.
3. Enter your concern about the incorrect address.
4. Tap Continue.

 

Once everything is settled, you can now create and run your payroll in the program.
